Someone was just asking me about the "Hydroponics Patch Kid" so I promised I'd put up this cover. It's an illustration of "Toys of the Future" for Toy & Hobby World Magazine. We also had "My Little Alien" as a future version of "My Little Pony", "Geriatric Disney" characters poking fun at the trend of turning every existing character into babies, "Holographic Mario" from Unintendo and a Smurf, because all toys eventually return. It was fun working with the editor at Toy & Hobby World, which was a trade magazine. The editor, Larry Carlat, wanted to be editing a humor magazine. He eventually went on to edit "Rolling Stone Online".
